The Flexible Cooking Rack along with two grill racks and deflector plates, referred to as the ‘Divide & Conquer’ cooking system, is supplied as standard with current Kamado Joe Classic models (and a larger version is supplied with the Big Joe), but the rack is useful if you have a Kamado Joe which pre-dates the introduction of the Divide & Conquer System or a different brand Kamado which doesn’t have the KJ fit out.
This stainless steel flexible cooking rack is designed to house a range of different half moon Kamado Joe accessories offering a wide choice of cooking surfaces and, as the name suggests, a totally flexible approach to how those accessories are used depending on the cooking task in hand. The rack ultimately could house four different half moon accessories, giving you four different cooking surfaces including a cast iron grill rack, stainless grill rack, deflector stone or cast iron griddle. Use these at different heights within the flexible rack flame to increase heat exposure or for a warming or slower cook position. The rack fits inside a 23″ Kamado Joe Classic or similar ceramic grill size.
